Vietnam At Night

$25.00

A series of photos of storefronts and street vendors at night taken during a month long motorcycle trip from Hanoi to Saigon

"I was also enamored by the small slices of quiet familial and neighborhood life that I saw in between scooters honking and zooming by. There seemed to be no barrier between small storefront and living space, and life often seemed to be spilling out onto the sidewalks or streets. I tried to capture the storefronts, market stalls, and small businesses that I’d seen on my late-night walks. I stood across the street with a point-and-shoot camera hanging at my chest, patiently waiting for the moment when the scooters, pedestrians, bicycles, and motorcycles stopped honking and crossing into the frame — if only for a second."
